Their bodies are changing, and they are left comparing themselves to others, feeling societal pressures, often through the lens of perfection on social media. Join Mental Health America and Arizona State University for a session specifically for parents and caregivers. The session will discuss how comparison, social media, and societal pressures impact body image and youth mental health. It will also provide strategies to parents and caregivers on addressing these sensitive topics to best support their children and not perpetuate factors that can lead to an eating disorder and/or body dysmorphia. |
